In addition to electronically controlled
circuitry, this unit is equipped with an
extremely reliable electronic tension
system. Tension is controlled from the
front panel, and both tension and strap
length are shown on an LCD readout on top of
the unit. The PSM 1412-IC4 also
has adjustable legs, a spring-loaded hinged
top, and a host of other features.

SSM-ST
The SSM Stainless unit is designed for harsh
or wet environments. The body and most
external hardware are made from 304
stainless steel. Other internal parts
are made from high impact plastic for
outstanding moisture protection. The
SSM-ST gives you even greater moisture
protection than comparable units by using
stainless steel for critical strapping head
parts and the strap accumulator
system. To protect against water
splash, the SSM-ST has a stainless steel
bottom splash pan, and a special heat
transformer inside the body helps dispel
moisture and reduce condensation. The
SSM-ST is perfect for tough applications.
